These Terms of Service are for Aging in Place Alliance (AIPA), the guides and conversations at https://goaipa.com. They govern your use of AIPA. By using the site, signing up for a session, or opting in to texts, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Program Description
By opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Aging in Place Alliance about Live Q&A and Ask Anything 1:1 sessions, guides and follow-ups you asked for, and, for partners who opted in, contractor program notices. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
Opt-Out (STOP)
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP. After you send STOP, you will receive a single confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe.

Carrier Liability
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
See the Privacy Policy for how we handle mobile numbers, including that we do not sell or share text messaging originator opt-in data or consent except as strictly necessary to deliver SMS.
What you submit
You are responsible for the name, email, and mobile number you submit. Do not use the site for unlawful activity.
Guides, visits, and payment
The library is free, and so is talking with Shep. In each area we partner with one contractor we have vetted. When you book an in-home visit with them, they pay us a referral fee. You never pay us for the guides or the conversations, and you are never obligated to hire our partner. A partner contractor pays their own invoices. Payments are handled by our payment provider.
Limitation of liability
Aging in Place Alliance is provided as is. The guides are general education, not medical, legal, or financial advice. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for carrier delays or undelivered SMS. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
